Spearfish Canyon
I went on a delightful 125 mile ride starting on the back roads out of Rapid City to Spearfish, then down the scenic Spearfish Canyon, then back to Rapid City on the back roads. It's one of my favorite rides in the Black Hills National Forest because it's so beautiful, with lots of gentle, comfortable curves.

That does look gorgeous. We're planning on being in that area soon. I'm making a not of your recommendations. How long are you planning on staying around?
Beautiful shots! Looks a lot quieter than being with a million Harleys.
Actually there were a several dozen bikes at most of my stopping spot. I had to wait in line to take the waterfall picture. But the road wasn't really crowded.
